PIE Student Association
The purpose of the PIE Student Organization is to provide language development, engagement, and involvement opportunities for Program for Intensive English (PIE) students by:
- Building bridges and facilitating interaction between PIE students and the IU Indianapolis community at large through meet-ups, activities, and workshops
- Fostering community engagement and service learning through volunteering in and around campus
- Raising awareness of IU Indianapolis’s PIE program and its international students through interactive activities and multicultural celebrations
- Acting as a form of student council through which PIE students can voice their opinions, ideas, and suggestions directly to PIE administrators
- Providing opportunities for resume-building through the PIE Student Ambassador program
All PIE students are welcome to join the PIE Student Association!
Other IU Indianapolis Student Organizations
PIE students are IU Indianapolis students and are welcome to attend IU Indianapolis recreational and cultural events and join IU Indy clubs and organizations. IU Indy has hundreds of student organizations that bring together people with common interests. Check out The Spot for more information about IU Indy student organizations!
PIE Tutoring
The PIE offers FREE tutoring for PIE students! PIE tutors are American students in the School of Liberal Arts and can help you with anything from homework, a class assignment, preparing for a test, to completing an application or resume!
PIE Conversation Circle
PIE Conversation Circle is a new option to meet new friends from around the world! The PIE Conversation circle will be held on Monday afternoons in CA 137 at 3:30 p.m.
All PIE and IU Indianapolis students, staff, and faculty that are interested in meeting students from other countries weekly for casual English conversation and mutual cultural exchange can attend.
